Madness!!!!!! Man Marries His Mobile Phone
A 34-year-old man, Aaron Chervenak, has married his mobile phone at The Little Vegas Chapel in Nevada.
He married his smartphone in an attempt to make a point about society’s growing devotion to and reliance on their smartphones.
“If we’re gonna be honest with ourselves, we connect with our phones on so many emotional levels, we look to it for solace, to calm us down, to put us to sleep, to ease our minds, and to me, that’s also what a relationship is about.
“So in a sense my smartphone has been my longest relationship.
“That’s why I decided to see what it was like to actually marry a phone,” he said.
Wonders shall never end.

Where we dey go??? Naira plummets to all-time low of 472 per dollar
The naira slumped to a new all-time low of 470 to the dollar on the parallel market on Wednesday, posting its biggest daily decline since the Central Bank of Nigeria adopted a flexible foreign exchange regime.
The local currency stood at 452 to the dollar at the close of trading on Tuesday, down from 445 against the greenback on Monday.
The President, Association of Bureau De Change Operators of Nigeria, Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, told our correspondent, “The rate is N472 to the dollar as we await the kick-off of the distribution of dollars to the BDCs by Travelex on Friday.
“As we speak, no bank is dispensing dollars to the BDCs. The BDCs’ accounts were debited by some banks since Monday and they are not able to pay any of the BDCs so far debited by them. This is really sending a bad signal in the market.”
A currency analyst at Ecobank Nigeria, Mr. Kunle Ezun, said the parallel market was being used as a mirror of what the naira should be doing, adding, “For me, it may not really reflect naira’s performance. But basically, it is a demand and supply dynamics.”
The Ecobank analyst said the naira might hit 500 against the dollar in the coming days.
He explained, “The only way out is when there is dollar inflow into the market, and this is one of the reasons the CBN says it is not willing to cut the Monetary Policy Rate now. The idea is that why you are still trying to woo foreign investors into your fixed-income market, you should continue to be able to assure them of returns on their investment.
“What the CBN can do is to use monetary policy to keep encouraging inflows into the market.”

2016 Eclipse Finale: Penumbra eclipse happening today Sept 16,2016
The final eclipse of 2016 will occur this weekend , and it just so happens to coincide with the harvest moon - something we're not going to see again until 2024.
Earth has two types of shadows - penumbral and umbral . The umbra is the central cone of darkness that tapers away from Earth, and the penumbra is a much lighter shadow that spreads out from the edges of the umbra.
When Friday’s full moon moves into this light shadow, it will cause a penumbral lunar eclipse -
one of three types of lunar eclipse .
Compared to the other two - partial and total lunar eclipse - the penumbral lunar eclipse is the most subtle, but with clear skies, you should be able to make out some faint shadows in the upper quarter of the Moon’s disc without any special equipment.
Of course, if you have binoculars or a telescope, dig them out, because you'll get a way better view
Note, the darkening will be so slight, the best bet for viewers will be to use binoculars or telescopes to catch the creep of Earth’s shadow as it blankets the Moon’s usual glare. Expect to see the darkening effect start over the northern portion of the Moon’s limb and envelope about 91 percent of its disk during its maximum phase.
Where to See the Eclipse
Regions seeing, at least, some parts of the eclipse: Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, West in South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica.
Now here comes the good - or bad - news, depending on where you live. The eclipse will be visible for everyone across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Those across North America and South America will have to wait until 2017 to see another eclipse
When the Eclipse Happens Worldwide
Lunar eclipses look approximately the same all over the world and happen at the same time.
The times displayed are accurate to around 2-3 seconds.
* The Moon is below the horizon in London some of the time, so that part of the eclipse is not visible.
The total duration of the eclipse is 3 hours, 59 minutes.
Happy Viewing today. Go and get your telescopes ready friends.
Don't forget to share with friends on Facebook and whatsapp so they can also view too.

We are the cause of our Problem: Lack of Y chromosomes due to smoking habit
Men who smoke are more likely than non-smokers to lose the male sex chromosome - which could explain why male smokers are more prone to certain cancers than women who smoke, scientists have said.
Researchers found that male smokers had significantly fewer blood cells with a Y chromosome compared to non-smokers, and that the trend increased with heavy smoking - and disappeared when a man gave up cigarettes.
“We have previously demonstrated an association between loss of the Y chromosome in blood and greater risk for cancer. We now tested if there were any lifestyle or clinical factors that could be linked to loss of the Y chromosome,” said Lars Forsberg of Uppsala University in Sweden, who led the study published in the journal Science.
“Out of a large number of factors that were studied, such as age, blood pressure, diabetes, alcohol intake and smoking, we found that loss of the Y chromosome in a fraction of the blood cells was more common in smokers than in non-smokers,” Dr Forsberg said.
The risk was dose dependent, indicating that the more cigarettes a man smoked, the greater the proportion of blood cells with missing Y chromosomes. Giving up cigarettes led to a reversal of the mutation, Dr Forsberg said.
“These results indicate that smoking can cause loss of the Y chromosome, and that this process might be reversible. We found that the frequency of cells with loss of the Y chromosome was not different among ex-smokers compared to men who had never smoked. This discovery could be very persuasive for motivating smokers to quit,” he said.
Cancer is incurable. Please prevent it by stopping smoking habits.

Shocking Twins : The twin of Mesut Ozil from another mother
1. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, you must admit that these two have an uncanny resemblance to each other.
2. These identical twins were separated at birth and were adopted by two different families. However both were named James. The freaky part? Once they reunited they learned that they both married women named Linda, and then to women named Betty. They also had sons. One twin named his child James Allan, and the other twin named his James Alan.
If you see your twin you never knew about, don't be surprised. Its natural. Simply go home to ask your mum interogative questions. If you are not satisfied, ask your spiritual head for revelation. Still not satisfied, then you can conact me for proper deliverance. Lol

FINALLY THE ORIGIN OF SELFIE : Caused by a psychological condition
A Study Proved That People Who Take Gym Selfies Have a Psychological Condition
A recent study taken at Brunel University drew some interesting conclusions about gym selfies and individual psychology. The study revealed that people who post about:
- Their diet
- Their exercise routine
- Thier curved shapes
- Their pink lips
- and share photos of every latest outfit , is actually a psychological form of self-admiration
With the technological age of instant photo sharing through a number of social media apps like Instagram or Snapchat, researchers found that those who take gym selfies have heightened "narcissistic" character traits.
When it comes to diagnosing narcissistic traits, studies claim that an excessive interest in one's physical appearance is also considered as a craving for self-flattery, admiration, and regular ego boosts that are easily achieved through social media media posts.
Although advocating for a healthy lifestyle is certainly encouraged, narcissists tend to ‘broadcast the effort they put into their physical appearance,’ a lot more so than others.
The DSM-5 also believes that a narcissistic personality concerns oneself with the ‘self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people.’

SCIENTISTS NOW GOD????
Scientist have finally created a living thing. They created and bred a MALE mice with no Y chromosomes
The Y chromosomes are what determines if a child will be a male or female. Only male has Y chromosomes. Females have double X (XX Chromosomes) while males have Y (XY chromosomes)
So, will this little mice never produce male children though its a male?
Are they trying to prove God wrong by saying males can exist without Y chromosomes

See Ochuko for exam for abroad: Nineteen students get score of ‘0’ for cheating
Nineteen students automatically failed last month’s national Grade-12 exit exams for bribery and bringing electronic devices and “prohibited documents” into the exam room, the Ministry of Education announced on its Facebook page yesterday.
The ministry’s discipline council, in cooperation with Anti-Corruption Unit officials, decided to disqualify the 19 students with a zero score, said Ministry spokesman Ros Salin. One student bribed a proctor, one used a cell phone to cheat, and others brought mobile phones, cheat-sheets, calculators and a smartwatch.
“They must fail automatically when they commit an error with the [exam] regulation or abuse the regulation,” Salin said. The students can retake the exam next year, he added.
Sixty-two percent of students who sat this year’s exam passed, compared to 55.8 percent last year, and only a 25.7 percent in 2014 – the first year of an extensive crackdown on rampant cheating and corruption.

NDLEA Apprehends Man Carrying Methamphetamine Worth N31m At Lagos Airport
The suspect, Abiodun Israel Banjo |
According to a statement issued on Monday, Sept. 12th by NDLEA spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju, the arrest took place during the outward screening of passengers on a South African Airline flight to South Africa.
The parcels of drugs tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 3.435kgs with an estimated street value of N31 million in Nigeria
Describing how the drugs were discovered, NDLEA Commander, Ahmadu Garba explained that during a routine luggage check, NDLEA agents noticed that Mr. Banjo’s two bags contained methamphetamine concealed under clothing and food items.
Abiodun's bag showing foodstuff and personal effects |
However, the suspect, a graduate of the Technical College of Ijebu-Ode from Osun State, denied knowledge of the drug in his bag, claiming that a friend gave him the bag in South Africa.
“I work in Pretoria. My friend in South Africa called me saying that his brother would give me two bags containing foodstuff to take to him. He also promised to give me two thousand dollars. I opened the bags and checked thoroughly, but could not find anything criminal. That was how I accepted to take the bags,” Mr. Banjo explained.
“I was surprised when the drug was detected under the bags. I feel very sad that my friend has implicated me.”
NDLEA Chief Executive Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah called on members of the public to be aware of tricks employed by drug trafficking cartels.
“Drug traffickers recruit mules by enticing them with money. They are very clever in concealing drugs, as drugs have been detected in bags, electronics, foodstuff and clothes among others. We strongly advise that all passengers should endeavor to pack their bags themselves and avoid taking bags for others,”
The NDLEA boss added that ignorance was no excuse in drug trafficking and the suspect would be charged for unlawful exportation of narcotics.
“A person shall be deemed to have exported a narcotic drug or psychotropic substance under this NDLEA Act; if he brings to or deposits the narcotic drug or psychotropic substance concerned at any time at any customs area such as airports, customs port or any other customs point generally,” Mr. Abdallah explained.

Sky train is set : China's first sky train off for a first run
China's first sky trains are out of the assembly line and into the tracks in the city of Nanjing, making China the third country to master the sky train technology, after Germany and Japan.
Sky train is a light, medium-speed rail system that operates above the ground. It mainly supplements public transportation in big metropolises.
The Nanjing Puzhen Company Limited, affiliated to China's largest state-owned rolling stock manufacturer CRRC Corporation Limited (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation), took only four months to design and complete the elevated railway trains, said CRRC.
The two compartments can hold more than 200 passengers, and when compared with subways and trams, sky trains have lower costs, better climbing and turning ability, and higher wind resistance.
Professor Yue Zhaohong at the Beijing Jiaotong University said the construction period of sky trains is also much shorter than that of subways, lasting only three to five months for completing dozens of kilometers.
The overhauled railway is driven by batteries which can run for four hours at a time, and the batteries can be changed when the train stops at a station, with the entire process lasting only two minutes.
Experts say the sky train is more environmentally friendly. They will be a good choice in third and fourth tiered cities and at scenic spots. The sky trains are also set to debut in many of China’s scenic spots next year.

Champions League: City, Moenchengladbach clash postponed
The Champions League group game between Manchester City and Borussia Moenchengladbach on Tuesday was postponed due to heavy rain at City’s Etihad Stadium.
“Tonight’s #UCL match between #mcfc and @borussia_en has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions,” City said in a statement on their Twitter feed.
It had rained heavily in Manchester for several hours prior to the game’s scheduled 1845GMT kick-off and there was thunder and lightning overhead as fans made their way to the stadium.
UEFA’s rules state that if a match in the competition is postponed, a decision on when it will take place must be taken within two hours of the postponement.

ILLEGAL SITES: NCC discovers 41 illegal Internet Service Providers
Nigerian Communications Commission says it has discovered 41 fake and unlicensed service providers operating in the country’s telecommunications landscape.
The regulatory body made this known in its “2016 Q1 Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Reports,” made available to the News Agency of Nigeria, in Lagos.
It said there was compliance monitoring regarding the engagement of unlicensed service providers who are providing internet/data access in Nigeria.
The report stated that following the commission’s surveillance and intelligence gathering exercise, it was discovered that some financial institutions engaged the illegal providers for their internet and data services.
According to the report, in line with the commission’s compliance processes, these banks were requested to provide the names and details of their service providers in this regard.
“Arising from this compliance check, the Commission has discovered that 41 companies engaged were operating without the requisite authorisation.
“To this end, the Commission has commenced the necessary enforcement process, in line with the provisions of the Nigerian Communications Act 2003,” it said.
The report said that the telecommunications umpire’s activities were consistent with Section 89 of the Nigerian Communications Act 2003.
It said that the section mandated NCC to “monitor all significant matters relating to the performance of all licensed telecom service providers and publish annual reports at the end of each financial year”.
The report noted that NCC had developed Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement strategies to ensure fair competition, ethical market conduct and optimal quality service in the telecommunications industry. (NAN)

Chelsea captain John Terry ruled out for 10 days
Chelsea captain John Terry will be sidelined for 10 days after suffering an ankle ligament injury against Swansea on Sunday.
Terry strained ligaments in his left ankle during the 2-2 Premier League draw and left the Liberty Stadium on crutches.
The 35-year-old will miss Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Friday as well as next week’s League Cup trip to Leicester.
